The SMC indicator is the cornerstone of the algoat ecosystem, providing a wide array of functionalities essential for successful trading. It embodies the Smart Money Concept, offering insights such as internal, swing, and high-timeframe market structures, along with indications of inducement and detection of hidden manipulation attempts. Additionally, it highlights institutional interest zones and alerts users to market price imbalances. All powered by the algoat SMC Core™ algorithm.

Unveil hidden market dynamics and capitalize on opportunities with algoat ProKit! Packed with powerful features such as multi-timeframe moving averages and divergence fusion engine, it empowers you to cut through the noise and identify trends, foresee potential reversals and reveal previous OHLC data. All powered by the algoat TMC™ algorithm.

The algoat Profiler simplifies market analysis. Its central component is the intuitive, user-friendly Profiler dashboard, which presents crucial market summary in real-time. Moreover you can delve deeper into asset analysis using features like the Deep Delta Volume Profile, Market Sessions, and chart visualization based on built-in algorithmic conditions.

The algoat Flux indicator provides a unique approach to analyzing price fluctuations, offering double confirmation for trading decisions. Technical Analysis

SMC stands for the Smart Money Concept, a trading strategy centered around comprehending and capitalizing on market movements driven by institutional investors, such as banks and hedge funds. It posits that by identifying the trading behaviors of these major players, retail traders like you and me can make more informed decisions and potentially profit from them.

Market structure is the behavior, condition, and current flow of the market. It highlights support and resistance levels, swing highs, and swing lows. A trend is simply a consistent direction of price movement over time. Market structure can tell you if the market is trending or not. There are basically three main trends you will recognize in the market:

  • bullish (rising, with continuous higher bottoms and tops),
  • bearish (falling, with continuous lower bottoms and tops), and
  • sideways, with roughly the same tops and bottoms with minor variations.

A Break of Structure (BOS) in the trading world signifies a potential continuation of the current trend. It occurs when the price decisively moves beyond a previously established level, indicating a shift in market power. There are two types of BOS:

  • bullish BOS happens in an uptrend when the price decisively breaks above a swing high, while
  • bearish BOS occurs in a downtrend when the price decisively breaks below a swing low.

In an uptrend, the price keeps making higher highs and higher lows, in a downtrend, the price makes lower lows and lower highs. A CHoCH, short for “Change of Character” suggests that the trend might take a surprising turn, although a CHoCH alone isn’t a guaranteed reversal. The bullish CHoCH occurs in a downtrend while the bearish CHoCH happens in an uptrend.

A Fair Value Gap or Imbalance happens when the price jumps or falls sharply, leaving a gap on the chart because there weren’t enough buyers or sellers at the “in-between” prices. Later, this gap can act like a magnet, pulling the price back to fill the empty space before continuing its trend. FVGs usually help identifying the POI (Place of Interest) and OBs (order blocks).

Order blocks refer to specific price areas where large market participants, such as institutional traders, banks, etc. have previously placed significant buy or sell orders. These clustered orders create zones on the price chart, and those zones are order blocks. These zones can act like traffic jams for price. Lots of buying or selling creates support or resistance, making it harder for the price to move past those areas easily.

It is a zone on a price chart that might attract the price and cause a reaction. There are many ways to identify POIs. These can be breakout zones, order blocks, Fibonacci retracement levels, support and resistance zones, etc.
